These terms describe the standard online offer. A signed quote, order form or mandatory law may add to or override parts of this document.
Service scope
BBBNode provides self-managed virtual servers, physical servers and related infrastructure. Unless explicitly listed in an accepted quote, ongoing administration of BigBlueButton, Greenlight, Scalelite, operating systems, user accounts, integrations, recordings and customer applications is not included.
Orders and acceptance
An online submission is a request for review, not automatic acceptance. Inventory, identity, intended use, technical fit, tax and payment terms may be verified before an order is accepted. Provisioning starts only after written confirmation and any required payment.
Pricing, currency and tax
The base catalogue currency is USD. Visitors may display USD or EUR; EUR unit prices use the latest available European Central Bank reference rate and round upward to a whole price ending in 9. Displayed prices exclude applicable VAT, sales tax or other taxes. The accepted invoice or quote controls if a display error, rate correction, tax correction or agreed custom scope changes the total.
Free trial
The free trial is a non-production evaluation environment lasting 24 hours from activation. It is limited to one temporary instance and one trial per customer in a 30-day period. Secure card verification is required for abuse prevention, but no trial or renewal fee is charged. Temporary hostnames, applications and data may be deleted automatically at expiry without recovery. Availability, participant limits and beta software are not covered by an SLA.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must secure credentials, maintain self-managed software, monitor capacity, keep appropriate backups, comply with software licences and ensure their users and content are lawful. Root access gives the customer the ability and responsibility to change the system.
Availability and capacity
Hardware specifications, calculators and user-count examples are planning information, not performance guarantees. Meeting behaviour, client networks, third-party software and configuration affect BigBlueButton capacity. Any SLA must be agreed in writing.
Cancellation
Monthly services renew by the applicable billing period until cancelled under the accepted invoice terms. Dedicated hardware and annual commitments may have minimum terms. Setup, migration and other completed one-time work are non-refundable except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Liability and data
Customers must maintain independent backups suitable for their risk. To the maximum extent allowed by law, liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service during the three months preceding the event; this does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Independent provider
BBBNode is independent from the BigBlueButton project. BigBlueButton, Greenlight and other named projects or marks belong to their respective owners and remain subject to their own licences and terms.
